Roofcare Achieves Cyber Essentials Plus Certification

Roofcare has successfully achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification, the highest level of accreditation under the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme.

The certification demonstrates that Roofcare’s systems and processes have been independently verified as meeting robust standards for cyber security, providing assurance to housing association and local authority partners that data is handled securely and protected against common cyber threats.

As part of the assessment, Roofcare’s IT infrastructure and security controls were rigorously tested to confirm that appropriate measures are in place to safeguard sensitive information and reduce exposure to cyber risk. This includes secure data handling processes, strengthened system protections, and active management of supplier-related cyber risks.

The achievement comes at a time when the social housing sector is increasingly reliant on digital systems to manage assets, tenant data, and service delivery. As organisations continue to adopt new technologies, ensuring cyber resilience across the supply chain has become a critical priority.

By attaining Cyber Essentials Plus, Roofcare reinforces its commitment to maintaining high standards of governance, professionalism, and responsible partnership working. The accreditation provides clients with confidence that cyber security is being proactively managed as part of the company’s wider operational approach.

Roofcare has also recognised the contribution of its internal team and partners who supported the certification process, highlighting the collaborative effort required to meet the scheme’s stringent requirements.

This milestone forms part of Roofcare’s ongoing focus on continuous improvement and delivering trusted, secure services to its clients across the sector.
